The hulls are constructed from carbon fibre with a nomex core, making the Tek-Kat light weight with the strength to perform in all conditions. The beams and mast are also carbon fibre all adding to a stronger and more ridged platform.
The hull design gives the waterline length to perform up wind while the depth in hull insures upwind performance in any sea state. Buoyancy in the stern will help when pushing for that extra excitement downwind.

Many innovations have been incorporated in the Tek-Kat design, uniquely the chute is a integral part of the design it acts as a structural part of the boat enabling the forestay to be mounted on the tip of the chute, negating the need for a forestay bridle. The integral chute spans the beams as part of the structure, calculated carbon weave for the beams enable us to do away with a dolphin striker as the combined strength will cope with the mast loads. Cantered hulls and 15 degree offset daggerboards add lift. Further to this we are using the latest sail materials and Harken Carbon block range. All controls lines and layout have been designed for ease of use with high specification materials.

The sail plan with square top mainsail and fully battened blade jib provide the added power with option of a reef for those stormy days or light weight crews. The code one asymmetric will provide breathtaking downwind speed.
Clive Everest, the designer, already famous for his RS600 & RS300 and C Class catamarans, has used computer generated sections resulting in mathematically perfect curves to produce a stunning, high performance craft that is going to set the high speed catamaran sailing world alight!
